Synopsis

Bismarck is a turn-based strategy video game. The player can choose to control the German battleship Bismarck or command the Royal Navy fleet in pursuit. May 1941, Operation Rheinübung. The German battleship Bismarck attempts to escape the Allied fleet to leave the North Atlantic and carry out raids against Allied supply convoys. The player can take command of British or German forces. It is possible to carry out aerial reconnaissance, consult weather forecasts, move ships, fire deck guns and torpedoes, and manage repairs during combat. It is also possible to pilot Fairey Swordfish and launch torpedoes. The Germans achieved victory if the Bismarck managed to escape to the south or if it returned to France after sinking enemy ships.
