Synopsis

In Black Box, an 8x8 grid contains several hidden atoms. Your goal is to locate each atom by projecting rays from the sides of the grid and observing their trajectory. A ray that directly hits an atom is absorbed. Rays that pass within one cell of an atom are reflected. After you have fired enough rays, you can try to guess the position of an atom. To avoid random answers, you lose points for a ray that completely misses an atom or for a wrong estimate of its position, and you gain points for rays that are absorbed or reflected, as well as for a correct guess. If you are stuck, you can leave the game prematurely and check the position of all the atoms.
