Synopsis

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a 2D fighting game with 12 characters. Each character has their own story which is told with dialogues between fights. The player must choose between answers that influence the ending of the story. The combat system uses the usual fighting game options: weak, medium and strong attacks. Certain button combinations result in special attacks. If the player manages to injure his opponent (or is hit), a special energy bar fills up. If it is full, it can unleash a particularly powerful attack. There is also a stamina bar that decreases during blocking: when empty, the character takes additional damage.
