Synopsis

In December A.D. 2199, several years after the destruction of Ikaruga, several branches of the NOL were completely wiped out by an SS-class rebel called Ragna the Bloodedge, also known as the Reaper whose goal was to wipe out the entire NOL. The NOL, hoping to stop him, then placed the largest bounty ever offered for his capture. On the other hand, Ragna has in his possession a very powerful Ars Magus called the Azure Grimoire also known as Blazblue. Suddenly, the whole world, whether it is the NOL, the Ikaruga union or even other fighters are pursuing Ragna either for the bounty on his head or for the grimoire he holds.
