Synopsis

Blue Powder Gray Smoke is a military strategy game based on the American Civil War. This strategy game, playable solo against the computer or in multiplayer (2 players), takes place in semi-real time. The player can choose from several missions, historical or not, from the Confederate or Union point of view. In the non-historical setting, the positioning of troops and the characteristics of reinforcements are random, so as not to reproduce real battle conditions. The game uses historically accurate weapons. During the game, the player can zoom in three levels to follow the actions of his troops in real time, and interrupt the game at any time to give orders. These orders are given via a menu, allowing the player to define the objectives of his troops, as well as their speed, their offensive and defensive positions.
