Synopsis

DACC's Bobby Charlton Soccer is a soccer game that lets you actually play the game as well as configure the skill, stamina and accuracy levels of your players and special teams formations. After completing the Manager module, you enter the actual match in which you can play against the computer or against other players. The screen displays a TV camera's view of the soccer field, and keyboard or joystick control can be alternated between the two players closest to the ball, with the computer moving the rest of your team in time with the pace of play. All the normal rules of soccer apply, with goal kicks, throws, corners, etc., and teams change ends at halftime. All goals are greeted with an enthusiastic roar from the crowd.
