Synopsis

When the protagonist of Bokomu no Tatsujin falls asleep, it's time to play a board game. Filled with mini-games and strangely themed scenarios, our hero must confront/liberate hidden “alter-egos” with whom he can succeed. The mini-games invariably involve Pavlovian tapping, repetitive pattern matching, and button sequencing that's pretty simple to pull off. Drawn in a childlike scribble, the visuals help convey a sense of the ethereal, both tenuous and fleeting in its existence.
