Synopsis

Bomberman returns to the Game Boy Color. The adventure is pretty much the same as before, planting bombs to blow up blocks and enemies that are in your escape path.

Just like the Pokémon before it, Max: Blue is part of the adventure (the other being Max: Red Challenger Edition). During both playthroughs, you can pick up "Charabombs", creatures that you can raise as your own, and fight other Charabomb players. It's a simple bonus game of Rock/Paper/Scissors, but the only way to complete the entire adventure is to link the two games together via a link cable and move levels from one game to the other, as each game has unique levels, in order to collect Charabombs completely.

In Max: Blue, you play as Bomberman himself, with all the classic graphics and sounds that have been part of the series since the beginning.
