Synopsis

Like the original BOOM BLOX game, Bash Party is based on dynamic gameplay that appeals to players' reflexes, dexterity and problem-solving skills. During the action, players use the Wii Remote to direct objects and throw them towards structures made of blocks in order to knock them over. The game is also similar to a game of Jenga, in which players shoot blocks with the aim of knocking over as many of them as possible, without bringing down the entire structure. To do this, players must deal with the different types of blocks in play. These include gem blocks, blocks with points attached to them, explosive blocks that explode on contact, blocks that disappear when hit, wooden blocks, and steel blocks. Additionally, as the game progresses, strategies can change, meaning players must be flexible to succeed.
