Synopsis

Branmarker 2 is the direct sequel to the first Branmarker. The heroine Shami has completed her quest, received the magical artifact known as the "branmarker", and returns home with her companion Viga. Alas, the evil witch Kara has other plans and steals the branmarker from Shami to use for her own mysterious purposes. Shami and Viga must track down the thief and recover the artifact before all hell breaks loose on the world.
Like its predecessor, the game is a traditional Japanese-style RPG: the party travels up and down a world map, fighting randomly appearing enemies in turn-based combat and exploring maze-like dungeons. Unlike the previous game, there are multiple towns to visit, as well as a larger number of dungeons. Combat is viewed from a top-down perspective instead of the original game's first-person perspective.
