Synopsis

The island of Radja was a peaceful place, ruled by a benevolent king. But one day, monsters invaded the island. The prince and princess of the kingdom have been kidnapped. The king summons Shami, who, although a beautiful young girl, is the most powerful warrior in the kingdom. Shami must first save the king's children, then discover the origin of the demonic invasion.
Gameplay-wise, Branmarker mostly follows the template of the first Dragon Quest: it's a top-down RPG with random, turn-based battles. The player controls Shami and another character who joins the group. Shami can cast a variety of offensive and healing spells, the majority of which must be found in treasure chests located in dungeons. Most of the game takes place in hostile areas, quite complex and labyrinthine, which you have to take the time to explore.
