Synopsis

Break Fever is a single-screen, side-view game inspired by breakdancing, the dance phenomenon of the 80s. The goal is to perform different moves in front of two judges. Before you begin, you can customize the color of your clothes and those of the judges. Your first move is then presented to you. You must use joystick combinations to perform it, while an energy gauge fills up. Once your energy is exhausted, the judges give you a comment, such as “It failed” or “A real massacre!”. Among the movements offered, we find the “Space Shuttle”, the “Turtle” and the “Tourbillon”. After attempting all the moves, you receive a final grade before you can start again. Side B of the cassette contained a musical mix to listen to on your stereo while you played.
