Another honest fighting game but one that struggles to stand out from the others. It's classic, not bad but not too original. In any case, far from equaling AOF3 for example, Capcom's flagship series, and similar characters, except that SNK had fun "blurring" the lines by making a few mixes... (thus we obtain a Chun Li doing Shoryuken).

Breakers gives a very good impression at first but that gradually fades. Indeed, the graphics are neat (especially in terms of the characters, some settings frankly leaving something to be desired), the gameplay is remarkably efficient and the background sound (whether music or sound effects) is more "arcade" than ever.

But purists will not be mistaken, this game does not come close to the legendary Street Fighter, it fails in its technical ease (the combos come out in spades), which removes any depth from it.
