Synopsis
On 8 August 1941, at 10 hours after an artillery barrage, 1TD launched an offensive on the bridgehead near Bol.Sabsk. German tanks and infantry attacked at the junction of 286 and 173IR 90RD, in the direction of Peleshi. An offensive in this direction was a surprise to Red Army units.
