Synopsis

Dragon Side II: The Twisted Speare is a set of 10 add-on scenarios for the text-based RPG Bronze Dragon: Conquest of Infinity. Gameplay is menu-driven, allowing players to create characters, form parties, build castles, or begin adventures. Characters can be Human, Elf, Dwarf, or Halfling, with classes including Knight, Assassin, Ninja, Elder, and Wizard. Stats include Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Constitution, and Endurance, along with limited hit points and currency.

Each scenario begins at the Twisted Speare tavern, where quests are assigned, while supplies must be obtained from the main game's Dragon Village. Players also design castles by choosing room counts and levels.

Combat is turn-based, offering actions like attacking, moving, searching, using items, or fleeing. Players can detect traps, find secrets, and loot enemies mid-combat. Success in battle depends on range, weapon type, agility bonuses, and dice rolls exceeding enemy defense.
