Description

CarnEvil is an arcade rail shooter with optical gun, set in Greeley Valley, Iowa. Jacob and Lisa, aboard the "Spooky Sam's Ghost Tour" trailer, awaken a haunted carnival by slipping a coin into the mouth of a jester at the grave of Ludwig Von Tökkentäker. Armed with guns, they face monsters, zombies and flying creatures through nightmarish locations: Rickety Town with Krumpas, the Haunted House dominated by Hambone, the Freak Show with Eye-clops, the Chamber of Horrors and the Colosseum against Junior or Deddy. Under the big top, they fight clowns and circus animals before a final duel in Tökkentäker's zeppelin with him and his jester Umlaut. After the plane explodes, Jacob, Lisa and Betty find themselves at the cemetery, and Jacob inserts the coin again, condemning the three friends to relive the horror.
