Synopsis

Carry on Laughing is a single-screen platformer where you play as Mr. Livewire and must clean up all the classrooms at St. Hexidecimals, a school for crazy programmers. Each scene consists of a room where you have to turn all the big X's into checkmarks while avoiding people, creatures and objects. At the bottom of the screen, Mr. Livewire moves to the right; a piece is considered complete when all the X's have become checkmarks and it has reached the end. There is also a map of rooms visited, ladders, beams and, on a single screen, bubbles to reach higher levels. Touching costs lives and resets all checkmarks to X.
