Synopsis

Centropods is a single-screen, side-view shoot'em up inspired by the arcade game Centipede. You pilot a ship at the bottom of the screen and must destroy a Centropod by shooting it. You can move your ship horizontally, as well as forward and backward a short distance. The Centropod appears at the top of the screen and moves. When it touches an adhesive capsule or the edge of the screen, it goes down a height and changes direction. Touched, the Centropod splits in two; shoot it to split it again until it is destroyed.
