Synopsis

The Chalice of Mordania is a fantasy graphic adventure for the Apple II. After the evil wizard Rebor steals the legendary Chalice of Mostania and curses his brother, King Boswick, the player must recover the artifact before the king dies. With only seven in-game days to succeed, the quest spans forests, deserts, jungles, caves, and distant towns.

Using VERB NOUN commands, players explore the world, collect items, solve puzzles, and manage survival needs such as food, water, and sleep. Beginning in a small town, the hero is aided by Jadin the Kurumba and later Liphin the Tree Dweller. Along the way, they battle spiders, goblins, ogres, dragons, and other monsters using the proper weapons. The adventure culminates in an assault on Rebor's castle, where the wizard must be defeated with a magic arrow. Returning the chalice to the dying Boswick completes the quest and earns the player a rich reward.
