Synopsis

“Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey & Gallop Racer” is the latest horse racing simulation title from Koei-Tecmo. Although not the first title of its type, the game combines creative contributions from the development teams at Tecmo and Koei. The producer says the development team wants to present a "refreshing and real" game. That's why team members have traveled all over the world to visit racetracks in Europe. Japan's Nakayama Racecourse, for example, will be recreated as faithfully as possible in the game.

As the title suggests, players can enjoy the features of either racing series. Gallop Racer represents the Tecmo side, while G1 Jockey represents the Koei side. Interestingly, the names of the intellectual properties were changed for the Japanese version, with the title instead being "Champion Jockey: Gallop Racer & GI Jockey".
