Synopsis

Chaos Field is a vertical-scrolling space shooter similar in concept to the Gradius or Ikaruga series. You control one of three ships, each with its own pilot and unique weapon systems.


The game takes place in 5 phases, during which you face several bosses. Unlike other games of the same genre, almost the entire game consists of boss fights, each requiring a different strategy to defeat.

The game also uses a unique difficulty adjustment system. Called "fields", it allows you to play in Order or Chaos mode. Compared to Order mode, Chaos Field mode gives you increased firepower and abilities, but so do your enemies. Order mode is more relaxed for both sides. If you can play in Chaos Field mode, you have the opportunity to earn a lot more points.
