Chess Player 2150
Synopsis
Chess Player 2150 is a chess program which won the 1989 British Open PC Chess Championship (according to an article in ST Report International Online Magazine, November 13, 1992, No. 8.45).
The game was designed to improve over time, so that over time a game played against good players would be much better than when it started. Users have the option to save, so that the acquired intelligence is not lost.
Although the author clearly intended the game to be used by serious chess players, he also included fanciful farm-themed chess pieces (sheep pawns, dog rooks, horse knights, chicken bishops, cow queens, and pig kings) or alien-like science fiction. The game can be played in 2D or 3D and features digitized voices.
