Synopsis
This installment of the Chessmaster series features a powerful chess opponent at 12 skill levels, ranging from novices to grandmasters. Its many features include an openings library built around 71,000 moves and the ability to have move history.
To help novices, there is a learning mode showing all legal moves, an indicator move offering what the computer thinks is a strong move, and the ability for the chess master to analyze all previous moves in a game. Famous real-life game positions and pre-set challenges are also offered.
