Synopsis

All four players must progress through a schedule, either winning or losing money for each tile. The main (and only controllable character) is Chibi Maruko herself. Items can be used including candies to increase the amount of spaces and a red potion that takes players to an alternate universe where time flows backwards at the beginning. Each day has either 28, 29, 30 or 31 days depending on the month. The place after the last day of the month determines the winner as the first person to cross that line gets an extra ¥100. The games can take place in units of one, three, six or even twelve months. The winner of the game is the player with the most money.

Special items can be obtained from mystery boxes set on certain days of the month and can be used at any time by pressing the "A" button on the yellow icon.
