Synopsis

Chibi Maruko-Chan: Uki Uki Shopping is a simple board game for the NES, aimed at children. The idea is to travel around the map to reach a certain landmark before others, while purchasing souvenirs at these locations along the way. There's really nothing to the game, since your results aren't saved or carried over to a new card; when you win the actual game, that's all there is. The gameplay and general concept is simple with the inclusion of special cards that you can receive to affect others or yourself. In addition to earning yen, you can also earn happiness points, which you earn by purchasing souvenirs and sending them home to enjoy.
