Synopsis

Players take control of Chibi Robo, a small machine specially designed to take care of a family's home. The robot must ensure the “happiness” of the house. To do this, Chibi must move around the house and clean it, interact with other machines and people, and even, depending on the storyline, stop a group of clumsy thieves from running off with valuables. An electricity meter in the lower right corner of the screen counts down constantly.
When Chibi runs out of energy, players must recharge him. The game features a day/night system, where days last around 10 minutes, as do nights. The environments change slightly depending on the time of day. For example, a character unavailable during the day may sleep on the couch at night, and robots that normally roam the level in the afternoon may be gone by evening.
