Synopsis

Choplifter III on SNES features completely different levels than the Game Gear and Game Boy versions, and plays slightly differently from other Choplifter games. While the controls and basic gameplay haven't changed much, and the main objective of each level remains to rescue a certain number of hostages, Choplifter III is faster and more action-oriented than previous installments in the series.


Enemies are now more varied and numerous. They reappear more often and some levels offer fights against big bosses. To compensate for this, there are more power-ups (such as missiles, bombs, invisibility, etc.) available, and it is possible to have the helicopter repaired at certain locations in a level.
