Synopsis

Civilization II: Multiplayer Gold Edition combined the two previous expansions and offered additional options for network and "hotseat" play, as well as improved AI. However, all of the music tracks from the original version of Civilization II had been removed; only some of the “new” tracks had been retained. Furthermore, the improved AI is consistently hostile, rendering most diplomatic functions useless. The Multiplayer Gold Edition was included in the Civilization Chronicles box set released in 2006.
