Synopsis

Revolution is a turn-based strategy game about territorial development and expansion, featuring sixteen distinct civilizations from prehistory to the future.

Specifically designed for console controls, the original gameplay is intact but with reduced complexity. The available civilizations are America, England, Japan, Aztecs, China, India, Mongolia, Rome, Egypt, France, Arabia, Greece, Spain, Germany, Zulus and Russia, each with their own rulers and specific advantages. Another civilization, the Barbarians, is not playable and they are constantly waging war on others.

Game sessions are generally shorter, with fewer victory conditions and simplified city management. The possible strategies remain very open, since the four victory conditions are domination, technology, economy and culture.
