Synopsis

Classic Board Games allows you to pit your chess, checkers and backgammon skills against those of the computer and select the level the computer will play at, or if you prefer, you can compete against another human opponent, either on a single computer or over the phone with two computers equipped with a modem.

Classic Board Games offers two types of displays for chess, checkers and backgammon. You can play on three-dimensional game boards in perspective, with smooth and in-depth piece movements, with multiple viewing angles of the boards, or you can play on two-dimensional boards viewed from above. All game boards feature graphically animated game movements with realistic digitized sounds or games.
