Description
Clutch Hitter is a baseball game released on Sega System 18 before being ported to Game Gear.
There are notable differences between the Japanese and American versions of the game: the US version has an MLB license and uses American teams, while the Japanese version uses Japanese teams and players. There are also subtle differences in presentation to represent the two regions.
A chicken leg, an enemy seen in Altered Beast and Golden Axe, appears in the credits.
Clutch Hitter is considered an episode of the Super League series, which is said to have inspired the improvements to Pro Yakyuu Super League '91.
