Synopsis

Colossal Adventure is inspired by the first mainframe text adventure games. Our hero must rescue the elves and find fifteen treasures. Many areas are dark; lamps and batteries are therefore precious. Watch out for the fierce dwarves, who you can eliminate with an axe. You can carry up to four items at a time; among the most useful are a newspaper, keys and sandwiches. Vocabulary includes spell names, the ability to DROP items to meet the carry limit (and for other specific reasons), catching a bird, and the usual directions and IN and OUT commands.
