Synopsis

Communist Mutants From Space is an action game with gameplay similar to Space Invaders. Your goal is to defend your planet against the various attacking mutant warriors. You control an anti-mutant cannon at the bottom of the screen, and you must kill as many mutants as possible at the top. At the very top of the screen, a Mother Creature will create mutant eggs that will fall into the formation. The eggs slowly hatch into various creatures that fly downward and try to bombard or crash into your cannon. If you destroy the Mother Creature as well as all the mutants on the screen, you will advance to the next, more difficult level. Several gameplay options are included that allow you to activate or deactivate a shield, guided fire, time warp to temporarily slow down the game, and penetrating shot allowing you to eliminate multiple mutants with a single shot.
