Synopsis

You spend a week's holiday in the Herefordshire countryside, staying in a rural cottage. You visit the surroundings and chat with the locals. During the week you heard many stories about the previous owner, who died a month ago after a long illness. It is said that he buried a large part of his fortune in the surrounding area. Without known or living family, you cannot verify this information and remain skeptical at first. However, several residents remember seeing him several evenings, a box and a shovel in his hand. You then begin to believe it and finally decide to go in search of this famous lost treasure. Country Quest is a text adventure game where the screen displays descriptions of your environment and you enter keyboard commands to interact with it.
