Courageous Perseus

Base game MSX RPG 0

Do you like this game?

Synopsis

Courageous Perseus is one of Japan's very first action RPGs, released a month before Hydlide and the same month as Falcom's Dragon Slayer. However, while the other two spawned successful series, Courageous Perseus was mostly forgotten.

You play as the legendary hero Perseus who sets off for an island full of mythical beasts to save the Pleiades Maia, Celaeno and Asterope. Perseus starts with 2000 HP, but his health is constantly depleted by one point per second. Enemies are attacked simply by running into them while holding down the spacebar.
