Synopsis

Cowboy Kidz is a top-down vertical scrolling shoot'em up. The screen constantly scrolls upwards as you play a cowboy on horseback, tasked with protecting a mail convoy by shooting bandits. You ride alongside the train and can stand in front or behind to explore the other side. Bandits appear on the screen as you progress; they must be killed or avoided. Rocks and cacti are also to be taken into account, and the slightest contact with a bandit or other obstacle causes you to lose one life (out of three). In subsequent levels, bandits shoot at you from the train and rivers appear, which you have to cross on bridges.
