Synopsis

When Ebeneezer von Clutch, owner of the famous MotorWorld amusement park, is robbed of the Black Power Gem that keeps him alive, he tasks Crash and his friends (and enemies) with recovering the gem and stopping the culprit.

As in previous racing games in the Crash Bandicoot series, players can choose from a variety of characters from the series, including notable allies and enemies, as well as several notable new characters. Additionally, Crash Tag Team Racing introduces the ability to "compete" with another racer, allowing both players to create a hybrid vehicle to destroy their opponents by cooperating.
