Synopsis

Cricket Master is a management game where you take control of the England team to face Australia, West Indies or New Zealand in a limited overs game. You then choose the level (1 to 3), the duration (40 to 60 overs) and the name of the competition, before selecting 11 players from 16. The opposing team is displayed with the playing conditions (weather, wicket, field). After the toss, you get options to hit or bowl in each over, with the option to adjust the speed (slow or fast). In striking, you choose an offensive, balanced or defensive style. When throwing, you designate the player and the trajectory (Outside Off, Middle & Off, Middle & Leg), and can place your defenders. The match is shown in top view with positions and scoreboard. Text describes each throw, sometimes with the option to run. After each over or wicket, you return to the option choices.
