Synopsis

Critical Mass begins with a terrifying message to the United Nations: on June 9 at 8 p.m. sharp, the five largest cities in the world will be destroyed by thermonuclear weapons. The delegates decide that only one person is crazy enough to stop this lunatic: the player. To prevent the impending catastrophe, you must gather clues, visit locations and solve puzzles. The trail leads to Paris, Rome, London, Miami and San Juan, gradually revealing that the ruthless Count Stuportino is orchestrating the destruction from his secret lair in Martinique. To thwart his plans, two special challenges must be overcome: a water skiing competition in Miami to win a crucial towel, and a battle with a plasma cannon to intercept nuclear missiles and save millions of lives.
