Synopsis

In Crossbow, you and several comrades try to cross numerous perilous areas in order to recover stolen treasures from the malicious master's castle. Your party members are unarmed, but you carry a crossbow. Thus, you must shoot at all obstacles or hostile enemies that could hinder your comrades, when they cross the screen. The scene is presented in first person, and one by one each member of the group will walk from left to right on the screen. There are many different landscapes to traverse, each with their own dangers: deserts with scorpions, ice caverns, jungles with hostile monkeys, a volcano spewing lava, and even the heavily guarded castle. The game begins with two comrades in your party, with additional ones joining later, and ends when everyone in your party has been killed.
