Synopsis

In the future, humans have finally reached the surfaces of other planets in the solar system. A group called the Commune, based on a gigantic space station named Ondina, began to dominate the expansion of human colonies. A group of Martian rebels, the Inverse, attempts to overthrow the Commune, using the Cruise Chasers, space fighters capable of transforming into giant robots called using a system called Blassty.
Cruise Chaser Blassty is a science fiction role-playing game. The player controls an unnamed Terran mercenary who can choose to join the Commune or the Reverse. The player navigates the protagonist in a mecha through pseudo-3D dungeon-like areas, fighting other robots in turn-based combat and earning credits and experience.
