Synopsis

In Cyber-core, the basic idea is traditional: shoot everything before the enemies eliminate the player. After three hits, the chitin armor shatters and a life is lost. In addition to flying enemies which are eliminated with the standard weapon, the player must also deal with ground enemies with (unlimited) bombs.
The player has a choice of four insect shapes which they can change by collecting matching symbols. By collecting several identical symbols, the insect evolves, but this also increases the difficulty level. Other extras include smart bombs, extra lives, armor repairs or a protective shield. The game offers the option to enable rapid fire or slow down the speed.
