Synopsis

Danball Senki is a role-playing game that focuses on an assortment of pastimes popular in Japan, set in the Akihabara of 2042, with a thirteen-year-old boy who collects miniature plastic models of combat mechas as the protagonist. The robots (named by the acronym prefix "LBX" of "Little Battlers Experience"; so their names are, for example, "LBX Achilles", "LBX Amazones", "LBX Warrior" and so on) are moved by a small internal motor. engine and capable of being customized, with the dual purpose of suiting the owner's taste well and being victorious in the battle against the robots of the other characters in the game. The fights take place in cardboard dioramas, which are just miniaturized reproductions of locations, with a visual style inspired by anime. This is done in real time where the player takes direct control of the mechas.
