Synopsis

Created by Taito to compete with games like R-Type or Gradius in arcades, Darius had 3 screens wide.
When the game was ported to home machines, Taito was forced to reduce the field of view and called it Darius+.

In Darius, the two heroes Proco Jr and Tiat Young fight the threat of galactic fish and other marine animals on their home planet.

The game is distinguished by the choice given to the player at the end of the level between two ramifications, which gives the game strong replayability.
