Synopsis

You and your army have conquered a city on a distant planet. This city serves as your base to expand your empire across this alien world. It makes it possible to build air, land and sea transport infrastructure, and can also accommodate additional troops. You can order any transports or troops stationed outside the city to move, attack, or hold their position. Dark Empire is a strategy and war game. The view is aerial and only displays a small part of the planet. Only areas you have explored are visible. All units are represented by icons. The joystick allows you to move the cursor on the map, while the fire button, from a city or a unit, allows you to give orders. The screen also displays the number of cities controlled and the number of turns remaining.
