Synopsis
Dark Star opens with a journal entry dated August 10, 2042, in which Commander Sebastian Roehm describes the crew's plight. After landing on an unknown planet, they struggle to install essential modules, but morale is low. No one knows if a return to Earth will ever be possible, and uncertainty hangs over them. With each hour that passes, the risk of panic and hysteria among the crew increases.
