Synopsis

After the great and beautiful death of Dai Ou Jou, what we have here is a Great Resurrection.
The initial release quickly showed weaknesses (debatable balancing, counter-stopped at 99 billion before the end of the first loop by Japanese "pros"...) so version 1.5 was announced immediately and provided free to every owner of version 1.0 who returned the PCB to CAVE.
To make up for the fans' frustration after DaiOuJou had thrown away its green helicopter, here comes the return of our three favorite ships:
- The red ship and its big laser that helps well against bosses, but does not have exemplary mobility nor phenomenal screen-clearing ability.
- The green helicopter, homogeneous and maneuverable, which keeps its swivel turrets allowing the 'shot' to sweep the screen left or right depending on the direction of the ship's movement.
- The blue watering can, which covers the screen with its supersonic pellets, helping considerably during levels, but making bosses take a bit longer to perish.

After selecting the ship comes the selection of a 'game mode' from 3 options. The first two have been available since the game's release; the third is unlockable via a small procedure as follows:

Insert a credit.
Hold ABD (yes, yes, D ^^) on player 2 and enter the following sequence on player 1's controls:
B, C, B, A, D, down, up, A, A, D, D, C, C, B, B, left, left, A, right, left, left, left

A small voice will confirm the correct activation of the new mode.

Here are the modes:
- BOMB: Standard DDP shots (tap to shoot, hold button for laser); the notable difference lies in the bombs, which are now 'AUTO', greatly aiding survival. Note that the effect of an auto-bomb is shorter-lived and less destructive than one triggered manually by the player.
- POWER: No bombs. Zero, nothing, nada. However, there are two shot modes, 'NORMAL' and 'BOOST'. Switch between them using the second button (normally the bomb button). BOOST mode offers a more powerful shot but slower movement. Note that when you destroy a 'bomb-carrying ship' and collect the bonus, the player gains an auto-bomb.
- STRONG: A mix of the first two, let's say. The bomb stock is the same as normal, but the shot is as powerful as the power-BOOST shot.

Next comes the choice of button configuration:
Shot - bomb - autofire - hyper
or
Shot - bomb - hyper - autofire
