Synopsis

Deadenders is a humorous text adventure game with graphics, parodying the British television series “Eastenders”. The action takes place in "Herbert Square", a reference to "Albert Square" in the series, and the characters have changed names, such as "Dirty Dan" instead of "Dirty Den". The player takes on the role of police officer Donald “Dirty” Dance, tasked with solving the disappearance of Effi's little Willie from Herbert Square. To gather clues, the player must question the neighborhood's eccentric residents and explore Herbert Square up close. The game does not use any tools such as command lists or icons; All instructions must be entered in full.
