Synopsis

Death in the Caribbean is a text and graphics adventure game. You play as a treasure hunter on an anonymous Caribbean island, searching for buried pirate treasure. To reach the chest full of doubloons, you will cross many locations, a complex maze and come across wild alligators. The puzzles vary, from simply finding an object to solving a problem to solving a complex cryptogram.

At the top of the screen is the graphics area. Below that, a simple command line is topped with space for a brief description of the area. As in any good adventure game, the puzzles start easy and become more complex as you progress. The lifespan is approximately 30 hours. The game is supplied on four sides of floppy disks, i.e. the front and back of two floppy disks.
