Synopsis

Death Trap is a side-scrolling platform game mixing action and adventure, even if the adventure is often limited to finding levers to access the rest of the map. The game takes place in a fantasy medieval castle, divided into five levels, where the trap of the title comes from. This trap was set by the magician-king Shankriya and remained intact for five centuries. The player must restore order.

The game features a wide variety of enemies, from ghosts to magicians throwing fireballs. Some defeated opponents drop vials containing liquids that can be transformed into spells and other powers.
